Jim Kelly Joins Starfish as Client Engagement Officer

Starfish is pleased to announce that veteran brand and marketing expert Jim Kelly has joined its team as Client Engagement Officer.

Jim brings 25+ years of branding and marketing experience to the team, including 18 years at PwC serving as Consulting Marketing Leader, US Brand Leader, and, most recently, Signature Services Leader.  As Signature Services Leader, Jim led the creative development of PwC’s highest profile projects and events defining the brand. Preceding this role, he was credited with leadership in the company’s largest and most noteworthy U.S. advertising campaign as well as the successful rollout of the rebranding from “PricewaterhouseCoopers” to “PwC.”

As Client Engagement Officer, Jim will be a key member of the Starfish team and will be charged with creating seamless relationships between the agency and its clients. “I am thrilled to have Jim on our team,” Starfish President and CEO David Kessler remarked. “He brings a wealth of expertise to Starfish, not to mention his experience working within a professional services environment. I’ve had the pleasure of knowing and working with Jim for the past 15 years and have the utmost respect for him.”Jim is a thought leader on the topic of employer branding and has published articles in Advertising Age, Mediaweek, Adweek, Forbes, and on “I’m excited to join an agency of talented brand thinkers who share the same passion I have for inspiring and elevating brands and creating powerful branded experiences that are both engaging and memorable,” he said.  Jim earned his bachelor’s degree from University of California, Berkeley, and MS at Golden Gate University, San Francisco. He is based in the California Bay Area.
